The Truth About Petlane

Petlane is a network marketing company from Concord, California. It is the latest project of entrepreneurial legend Lane Nemeth, founder of the 100 million dollar industry Discovery Toys. Petlane sells safe, healthy and fun products for all family pets.

Petlane makes products for most family pets including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets. The products include things like food, treats, breath freshners, dental care, ear care, flea spray, odor removers and toys, for example. Petlane aims to take advantage of the US pet industry which is worth $43 billion a year.

Is Petlane A Scam?

Petlane is sometimes considered a scam for several reasons. The first is simply because it is a MLM company, and MLM very often has such a bad name. Some people think it is a pyramid scheme and others think it is impossible to make any money. But this is not true - the direct selling industry is a fully regulated and legal industry, and is officially sanctioned by US law. It is not the same as pyramid schemes, which are illegal.

The reason that a lot of people don't make any money with Petlane is because they take bad advice and use old fashioned marketing techniques that are proven to fail. They will focus on trying to sell to their friends, family and neighbors, they will hold sales parties and demonstrations, they will print business cards and flyers, make CDs and DVDs, and cold-call potential leads trying to persuade them that Petlane is the right opportunity for them. These methods do not work in the 21 st century.

For a start, it may be stating the obvious, but not all of your family and friends are going to be pet owners, so straight away you are cutting down your potential market. Those who are pet owners may already have a food supplier that they are happy with, or get their accessories from another friend who owns a pet store at the mall, for example. In short, just because they love you doesn't necessarily make them the best customers for you.

Second, these old-fashioned techniques are expensive and time-consuming. You will need to put in loads of work and financial investment, and the returns will not make it worthwhile. Many people will end up spending more money trying to make a sale than they will ever make back in profits.

The Good News About Petlane

But neither of these problems are the fault of Petlane, they are caused by Distributors not having the right skills for their business. If a Distributor takes the time to learn the skills that they need to be successful, then Petlane can be a really good opportunity. It is not a scam, the key is to move away from the old-fashioned methods that are proven to fail, and instead embrace the new way of doing network marketing that is proven to succeed time after time.

The future of network marketing is learning how to use the internet to explode your business. By learning the art of target marketing, you will learn to identify your ideal target market, and focus on them. They will be the people who most need or want your product, and they will approach YOU, asking you about Petlane, and desperate to buy from you.

Petlane is not a scam, you just need to know how to run your business efficiently.

Is it customs or a sham?

I ordered a Nintendo Wii from Ebay on November 21 and it's been 15 days and I still haven't received it. The seller will not message me back and I heard it can take 2-6 weeks to get a package to Missouri from Ontario, Canada. I used Paypal so I can get a claim against the seller but I don't know whether it's their fault or Ca/US airmail/customs.
I never received an e-mail saying the package was sent, like you usually do when one is sent. So, no tracking number. I'm wondering if there is a greater problem, in the package not being sent.

Until the seller *ships* you a package, it can't be Revenue Canada nor US Customs.

If I were you, I'd start with PayPal and try to get my money back. Buy your wii at a big box store. You can walk out with one. I got a wii for $250 from Best Buy in Union City, California.
