How can I get a stain out of a pure silk shirt?
It has black lace on it and the black dye has run into the silk - I`ve soaked it in cold water for 6 days and put stain remover on - the marks have definately faded a lot but you can still see the black marks on the gold silk - any ideas????
The problem is that it isn't a stain - The black dye has dyed the shirt ! Stain removers won't help now.
However, it sounds like you are talking about a gold silk shirt with black lace, which sounds so horrible I would have to suggest throwing it away.
