How can you plait a ponies tail like a polo ponies?

I am going to start polo training but how to they wrap up the ponies tail like in polo?

Thanks

They don't that much to them actually. Some choose to simply tie the tail up tightly without braiding and then "tying it down" like this with tape:

Most people prefer to braid the entire tail all the way down with a normal braid like the ones we use in our hair (a process more difficult than you think, actually!) and then tying it up with tape like in the previous picture.
These guys have had their entire tails braided and then folded back several times:

That's the most common method, although some people actually partly cut off the "dock" of the tail (the bone inside it) to make the entire folded braid shorter. I wouldn't recommend that, though; I find messing with horse's tails surgically to be cruel.

=) Simple!
