where could i buy a genuine tiger skin rug ?

for all you haters im asking for an already dead tiger pelt so dont trip !

A genuine pelt is fairly available in any of the third world countries that are a part of that species' range (India, Pakistan, Tibet, Aghanistan), and you can buy one, and even transport it out of the country without too much of a problem, but you can't import it to any first world country.

If you want to find one, say in the US for example, you would be better off starting to look for Estate sales- especially those that list a lot of high-end hunting items (large bore antique firearms). Chances are good that a part of that sale will be hunting trophies such as skins and mounts.

Yes, endangered species pelts are illegal to sell, but the seller usually can get around this by offering a small token item, like a book or a photograph for sale, then "including" the pelt as a bonus item. Say a photograph of a Tiger hunt is listed for sale at $5,000 and the Tiger pelt in the photo is then included to the purchaser as "provenance".
