Cost for new bedding?

OK, so I've never actually been bedding shopping, because my mom does it for me. And I was thinking about getting a new bedding. I saw the cutest bedding on JCPenney.com, and I think I'm gonna get it!

One standard Sham
Comforter
It's $165.00, is that too much? My mom doesn't really like online shopping so we'd probably pick it up at a nearby store. How much do you usual spend on bedding?

I actually work at JCPenney, and let me advise you, that is actually really really steep for our bedding sets. If you have your heart set on it though, I would keep an eye on it rather than rushing in to buy it. Keep an eye on sales, especially doorbusters (friday evenings and saturday mornings, not every week though), and keep an eye on coupons, we often have a coupon that will give you $10 off 50, $15 off of 75, or $20 off of $100. Another suggestion, go in and buy something small and unnecessary, even if its just a godiva candy bar, and then at the bottom of your receipt it should give you a solicitation for an online survey, take the survey to get 15% off coupon (it cannot be combined with other coupons but if its at $165 on sale it would save you more than just about any other coupon other than customer appreciation coupons which dont come around often and we just had one of those)...jcpenney prices fluctuate a lot so be patient before buying...also, just so you know, not everything online is sold in stores, we have over 200,000 items available online so check your local stores availability before you drive out there...even if it is only available online, you can order it from in the store though, so if shes leary of ordering online, have it ordered from the store instead, it goes through a separate more secure system (its the same system we used to do our catalog orders from) and they can still order it for you by phone if she prefers, or you can even order it by phone if you really want to and if shes THAT against online purchases, and i believe if you take the survey that 15% off coupon works on online/catalog purchases...and if you order it from the store and have it shipped to the store its free shipping...hope this helps
