The last game for the Minnesota Vikings was a great show of the excellence this team brings to the field. The Chicago Bears didn't stand a change as the Minnesota Vikings scored point after point to close out the game on November 29 with a final score of 36-10. The next game against the Arizona Cardinals may prove to be just as fascinating for the Minnesota Vikings, even though they'll be playing away from home.
There's no question that this season started off with a bang for the Minnesota Vikings. In week 1, they defeated the Cleveland Browns with a win 34-20. The Detroit Lions met with the same result on their own field as the Minnesota Vikings beat them 27-13. In week 3, the San Francisco 49ers gave it a valiant attempt, but when the final buzzer sounded at the end of the fourth quarter, the Minnesota Vikings kept the advantage and took home a win 27-24. In game 4, the Green Bay Packers loss to the Minnesota Vikings 30-23 and game 5 against the St. Louis Rams was a win 38-10.
Another win against the Baltimore Ravens 33-31 came during game 6. During week 7, the Minnesota Vikings took on the Pittsburgh Steelers and didn't come away the victors for the first and only time in the season but it wasn't because Brett Favre didn't give out a phenomenal performance with 334 passing yards. Adrian Peterson also put out 69 rushing yards. With two more victories against the Detroit Lions (27-10) and Seattle Seahawks (35-9), this great team has an excellent shot at the Super Bowl at the rate they're going this season. There are only five more games in the regular season and fans, coaches, staff and players themselves are hoping to see the Minnesota Vikings keep up this great winning streak.
The Mall of America Field at the H.H.H. Metrodome has been home to the Minnesota Vikings since the first game was played there in August, 1982.
