The Difference Between Thermal Binding Utility Covers and Bindit Prestige Linen Thermal Binding Covers
When it comes to thermal binding covers many of our customers have asked us what the difference between standard thermal binding utility covers and the more expensive Prestige linen thermal binding covers. Both have linen weave backs and spines and can look very much the same. However, there are several things that set the Prestige Linen Thermal Covers apart from the utility covers. Here is a quick list…
* Available Sizes: Unfortunately, thermal binding utility covers are only available with spines 1/2” thick or smaller. These sizes fit the majority of users in the market. However, if you need a thermal cover with a spine larger than 1/2” you will need to look at the prestige linen thermal covers.
* Lead Time: Thermal Binding Utility covers are a stock item at Mybinding.com and are generally available to ship immediately. Prestige Linen thermal binding covers have a number of customizable options that are not available with the utility covers. However, since they do have the options, prestige linen thermal covers are made to order and take approximately 2 weeks to ship.
* Front Cover Options: Thermal binding utility covers are only available one way. They have a linen weave back and spine with a 6mil clear front cover. Prestige linen thermal covers are available with a number of different options for the front cover including: a plain linen weave cover, a clear 10mil cover, a 10mil frosted cover and with a plain linen cover with a window.
* Color Options: Although there is a fairly good selection of colors in thermal binding utility covers there are a few colors that are not available in utility covers that are available in the prestige linen covers. For instance if you are looking for grey linen thermal covers you will need to order prestige linen covers since they are not available in utility covers. Prestige linen thermal covers are available in Maroon, Blue, Black, White, Ivory, Green and Gray.
Both types of covers are fully compatible with all of the thermal binding machines that we carry. However, for many people, the thermal utility covers are perfect to meet their needs. They are less expensive and are ready to ship immediately. However, if you are looking for thermal covers in other colors, thicker sizes or with different front cover options you may need to look at our Prestige Linen thermal covers.

We need to include an insert with directions and local hotel info (destination wedding). I would like it to be on nice paper but I can't seem to find anything other than just standard ivory linen paper. Please add links/suggestions of paper you would use. I am not opposed to something with a pattern on it either.Thanks!
Go back to Michaels! They sell all sorts of cardstock in various sizes. Look by the crafts where people "make their own cards." (I used to work there.) But, in the end, standard ivory linen paper would work fine too! Remember, it's just directions/hotel info...it's not the regular invite - no one notices those things.
