Whole House Water Treatment - Don't Throw Your Money Away

If you do not shop carefully for your whole house water treatment equipment, you are likely to spend a lot more than you need to.  While there is an effective system on the market that sells for just under $1000, there is another product that costs six times as much and doesn't do anything better.

If a product's price is related to its quality or performance, then I'll buy it.  But when two products provide exactly the same protection, why pay the extra price?

I believe that everyone needs effective home filtration, but I think that some companies simply make people think that they cannot afford it.  I always shop around and you probably should to.

When I first saw the $6000 price tag on a whole house water treatment equipment, I thought that it must contain a reverse osmosis step.  That step always significantly increases the price, whether you are looking at an under-the-counter filter or whole house water treatment equipment.

So, I went to the company's website, and much to my surprise, their price is not related to the purification method that they use.  It is related, instead, to "rare Japanese stones" that they claim will "imbue" your home's water with health giving qualities.

They say that they have scientific research to back up their claims.  The only research that has been done is by the company.  You always have to view company sponsored studies critically.  Don't ever take their word for it.  Look for other researchers that support their findings.  It's easy to do it today:  We have PubMed.

The only impartial studies that have been performed on these stones was one that showed that when added to soil, it increased the nutrient retention of the soil.  However, it did not remove as much as plain activated carbon.  And you should know that plain activated carbon is what most companies include in their whole water treatment equipment to remove chemical contaminants.

I believe that the company's claims are overstated.  They are stretching for some way to compete with companies that charge a lot less.  So, they claim that it is the value of the stones that causes the high price.

Well, after some research, I found that the stones aren't really all that rare.  There is simply no reason to pay the extra price. Depending on where you live and your overall state of health, you may need a little more protection than a whole-house system can provide.

In order to remove cysts, which can cause fatal illnesses in "at-risk" individuals, a purifier must filter down to one micron.  Whole-house systems only filter down to five microns; further filtration would reduce the flow-rate, making showering next to impossible. If it is chlorine reduction that you're looking for, make sure that the company has been certified by Underwriter's Laboratory or the National Sanitation Foundation.  Certifications by trade groups don't mean a thing.

The best whole house water treatment equipment on the market is certified to reduce chlorine by more than 99% and it's backed by UL certification.

TIPS.

fad diets - they dont work
dont go starving yourself, f0cks up your metabolism for the rest of your life which stops you from losing weight
no chocolate, sweets, breads or anything with TOO many carbs
have 5-6 meals to keep your metabolism going e.g [this is what i do]

meal 1 - 8:00
meal 2 - 11:00
meal 3: 1:30
meal 4: 4:15
meal 5: 6:15
meal 6: [optional] 7:00/8:00

and i eat 100-200kcals per meal [it varies]

get your 5-a-day ALWAYS.
for lunch, pack your own lunch, i call it a 150kcal snack pack
it normally consists of - fruits, vegetables, snack-a-jacks [like crisps but 80kcal!] & fruit juice, mily or water

i also get atleast 3 litres of water per day.

excercise, ATLEAST 1 hour per day, 30 mins is not enough.
per day i do....

100-200 situps
100 crunches
50 pushups
walk to and from skl [30-40 mins each way]
walk the dog walk/run/jog [40mins]
& i do P.E evrery day,

but i also am still trying to lose weight!

what is your height and weight if you dont mind me asking? [email me if poss]
