How To Properly Put on the Famous Duvet Cover
A duvet/comforter cover have many uses. It was first made to protect the duvet, which originated in rural Europe. The word "due-vay" means down in French because it is filled with down or feathers and is very similar to the down comforter. In Australia it is called a " Donna" and " Ralli Quilts" in Pakistan. It is used for isolation just like the down comforter. The Tog Rate will determine the insulation property, The higher the Tog Rate, the warmer it will feel. Washing a duvet can be pretty tough. It is always best to let the professional cleaners take care of the cleaning. It will not get properly cleaned with a regular home washer or dryer. Taking it to be washed in the cleaners can cost you a bundle. Protecting it with a duvet cover will save you plenty of cash just for the simple fact that the protective covering can be easily washed at home in a regular washer machine and does not have to be taken to the professional cleaners. The duvet cover was intended for the duvet but now is it used to protect our expensive down comforters. Down comforters can be pretty expensive to wash as well.
Many people complain about how difficult it can be to put on a comforter cover for the first time. It is not that difficult once you get the hang of it. When putting on a comforter cover, we have to turn the cover inside out. Many people make the biggest mistake of laying the cover on the bed and pushing in the comforter. This will take a lot of your time and can be pretty frustrating. After turning the cover inside out, reach in and grab both ends. Next, grab both ends of the comforter as well making sure the comforter is in line with the cover. Shake the cover over the comforter. It will take a couple of shakes to get it over the comforter. It all depends on the size of the comforter. A king size comforter will take a couple of more shakes then one of a smaller size. Spread it on the bed once it is placed over the comforter. Last but not least, tuck in whatever is hanging and seal it shut with either the snaps, buttons or zipper and you are done. You have just learned how to properly put on the famous duvet cover.
