During off season the rates are as low as $75 for two persons. If you are looking to check in with your family, though, you might like to consider the rather large Lodge Cottages with either the view of the lake or the forest. These cottages come with two bedrooms, bathrooms with bath tubs and hot water, well-appointed kitchen, and also a quaint stone fireplace.
Slightly more luxurious (and expensive) are the Harbor North Cabins in Mountain Harbor Resort & Spa. The cabins reflect a tasteful mélange of antiquity with contemporariness. Here, you will get two bedrooms and two baths with eye balm views of the lake or forest, depending on your choice. Truly living up to its image of a luxury resort spa is the recently-introduced Harbor House on the River which, as the name suggests, overlooks the Red River, and is great for trout fishing, among other things.
The Harbor House comes with four bedrooms with an attached bath each. There is a full-fledged kitchen on the premises that includes a cooking range, dishwasher, refrigerator, a charcoal grill, among many other mouth-watering luxuries. While staying at the Mountain Harbor Lodge who wouldn’t like to take advantage of its gorgeous marina? If you are a water sport lover you would love to jump on to one of its ski boats. But if you are looking for a nice leisurely ride simply set adrift on one of the well-appointed houseboats. The marina staff, you’ll find, is very friendly and helpful, willing to assist you in all ways possible.
Then, of course, there is the Turtle Cove Spa for a refreshing, rejuvenating experience embracing a vast panoply of healing techniques incorporating natural methods and practices. Surrounded by nature’s splendor you may avail of the world’s best skin and body care treatments that will revitalize your senses like few things can.
