With their ongoing popularity and the desire to have them last as long as possible, more and more people are turning to roses made out of their favorite metal. The white gold rose, for example, is a preferred choice. A floral arrangement of white gold roses is really quite appealing.

Like all roses made of precious metals, the gold rose goes through a rigorous forty step process before its handled by skilled artisans and technicians. It's designed with five petals like the real thing and the flower is attached to a stem that can be purchased in short or long lengths. Gold roses can also be chosen with their buds fully in bloom or partially open – the choice is up to you. However, if you're looking for roses with white gold plating, you're out of luck – it doesn't exist. In the precious metal plating industry, plating can only be done with gold, platinum, silver, or rhodium. White gold is only available as a solid, which is the real solid gold that's added to other elements to change the yellow gold to white gold. It's because of this that white gold can't be used for plating. If you're set on purchasing a white gold rose, the closest thing to that color would be platinum or silver.

Like jewelry, roses made of white gold, may be something of a personal choice (you may prefer roses dipped in silver, rather than gold). There is no denying, however, that roses are the celebrated choice when it comes to flowers. They are often given as gifts and used in decorating a home. Their beauty is equally undeniable and nothing else quite compares to the lovely fragrance they emit. Even a scented platinum or silver rose (the closest thing to a white gold rose) is a possibility given mists with different smells can be purchased to spray on the keepsake.

The care of real roses is one that requires great patience and ongoing attention so as to ensure they stay alive and healthy – it's no easy feat. Rose rust is a disease that is a reality in the real life of a rose. In addition, they are magnets for fungal infections which are sometimes impossible to cure once they have attached themselves to the plant. With pruning and the use of fungicides, spread of the disease can be minimized, but the actual infection will remain on the plant as long as it's alive. Insects like moths and butterflies like to also feed on the rose. And the greenfly, likes to suck on the sap which makes the plant weak.

With a gold rose, that type of care is never a factor. Outside of dusting them off every now and again so they can maintain their gleaming sheen, a gold rose will always look its best and will never have to worry about unwanted pests taking a liking to it. Given there are some 30,000 types of roses from which to choose, a gold rose takes away the confusion about which one to buy. All that needs to be decided with a rose made of a precious metal, is which Karat you prefer.

A gold rose is something that will last a lifetime. You will never feel as though you have missed out on anything since the beauty of the flower is captured with perfection in the gold rose.

Is a floral clutch suitable for prom?

My dress is full length dark green and doesn't have any bling on it as I just think too much bling looks tacky. I'm wearing chandelier earrings that are in a burnt gold with nude stones and my shoes are nude peeptoes. As i'm young I don't want to match my bag to my shoes and as my dress is plain I was wondering if a floral clutch would be suitable?

If not, what colour clutch could I go for?

If you got a 3d floral clutch to give the outfit some different textures that could be nice.
