&& what prices can you find there for like stuff from guess,armani,prada,gucci,DKNY ? etc.

Not as good as the Boston one. Century 21 is better, especially for designer merch. I also like Daffy's - all have horrible dressing room situations whether one big room or otherwise, all are very disorganized - but you get what you pay for. If you want atmosphere, you are going to pay a higher price for it. I have found some amazing things - but you have to dig and be lucky Happy hunting

It is awful on weekends or at lunch hour - if you can, go off-hours during the week.

Daffys are scattered all over - see link. Daffys always seems to have Anna Sui, DKNY and Cynthia Rowley in stock when I go there - but hidden in amongst the rest of the stuff. Some days there is really nohing interesting. I have the best luck at the 18th street store, but just go to the one on your way - the closest one. Again, luck is key. You never know, sometimes you find goodies, sometimes you leave empty handed.

Century 21 is the closest to a sure thing in terms of scoring designer gear at bargain prices.Be prepared for the shopping to take awhile, bring water with you, perhaps a snack and get coffee at some point.

What is up with the stereotyping? : "Europeans have no problem with these, but you can always tell an American when they gasp at the idea of undressing (even in their underwear) in front of another person." We are talking about US stores in America - we all know that deal with the dressing rooms, why throw a stereotypical generalization in there? Was that really necessary? How petty.
