Question regarding bug netting?

Alright, I am traveling to Africa to backpack, study and spend time in the bush. I am bringing a bug net to sleep in and have obtained nano see um netting to make it out of. This is basically no see um netting but weighs a third less.

My question is, are there biting insects capable of getting through this netting size, i.e. smaller then sandflies that spread disease? I know that they can bite if the mesh is touching you but what I mean is capable of entering the enclosed area. Please assume that I am using the net properly.

My next question is what type of pyrethroid is used to spray the netting? Is it possible to obtain it without synthergists included?
