Medium brown hair dyed burgundy?

I have a light brown/medium brown hair color. Anyway, it's not dark brown and does NOT look anywhere close to black. So with having light brown/medium brown hair, if I were to dye it burgundy would it show up?

Most Likely Not. I dye my hair a lot, when i had light brown hair i dyed it burgundy. so it is most likely to show up
