Does This Pillow Offend You?
When we cuddle up at night, we're looking to totally relax -- and forget about whether we ate an extra chocolate chip cookie during the day.
But a pillow from decorator Jonathan Adler urges you to go to bed with this reminder: "Nothing Tastes As Good As Skinny Feels."
Last year, Kate Moss sparked a controversy when she told fashion trade paper WWD that this saying is her motto. In May, Perez Hilton removed a T-shirt with the slogan from his online store.
But fans say the retro needlepoint pillow, which was created for the high-end retailer Kirna ZabĂȘte, is just a joke. Adler is also selling a $165 pillow that happily proclaims "drugs!" as well as one that lists all seven deadly sins, according to Racked.com.
But is it funny to joke about anorexia, knowing that some people take this "motto" very literally?
So do you think it's funny? Or Offensive? Why?
Neither, someone can go by that phrase and not be anorexic. I don't think anyone is going to get it tattooed to themselves anytime soon or anything, but it's just a saying developed by a coke addict. So why is it a big deal?
